Lines, shadows, and patterns of human-made structures also fascinate me, especially when juxtaposed alongside nature. Traveling in other cultures has given me deep appreciation for the endless variety and cleverness of design and materials in human constructions — from stone arches of cathedrals to roofs of grass thatch.
