Turner River, Everglades, FL. Fantasy photos can be a blast to make and take a lot of brainstorming and hard work. This image took 3 trips to a remote spot in the Everglades, two foolish photographers, 6 hours of standing chest deep in alligator-rich waters at night, a giant alligator skull, and many trials using an invented fan of light mounted on a kayak to create the S-curve and soft light-bath of the mangrove tunnel during a long exposure.
